JB's FACEBOOK
- Friends - I have come out of all the Games Applications. I apologise to my loyal bunch of Farmville supporters. Having been compromised on two occasions I feel it is best to avoid the stress and get back to reality. Many thanks for all your support. Please continue to follow my progress on FB and the various posts.
- Sri Lanka whupped the Aussies again. Amusing to see the absurdly named Xavier 'The Dog' Doherty had yet another mind blowing game. Not Out 2, and in the pie chucking department, managed an awe inspiring performance of none for 18 off two. Jeez, keep him in for the next Ashes - I'm dusting down my pads !!!
- Aus vs India. Nice win India in a really close contest. What's happened to Watto ??? Has he given up or is he waiting for Strauss and the multi coloured dream coat ?? Looks like Punter is an outfielder nowadays. McKay would struggle to get a bowl in the noodle shop !! Dogerty - just keep driving the team bus. Be well Pup.
- I was very sorry to hear of the untimely demise of Whitney Houston yesterday in Beverly Hills. Her voice was quite majestic and her performance in the 1992 film 'The Bodyguard' was fabulous. May she find a better life wherever she is, away from the torment of modern day pressures.
- I was very saddened to hear of the death of Graham Pritchard last week. He was working in Vietnam and a sudden heart attack finally did for him. A thoroughly decent man whose contribution to cricket in North Wales was competitive and important. A player with Wrexham Cricket Club, he represented Denbighshire CCC many times in the halcyon days.
- I do hope the latest posting is in the public entertainment zone. There are a ridiculous number of farcical situations that really need bringing to the public domain. From errant parrots to quixotic fingerists there are stories that will astound and amuse even the most lugubrious dullards, even in Pattaya !!!!
- Oh well done Australia tennis - stop watching the tennis and watch the weather. Jeez, huge momentum built up and down comes the rain - on an all weather court. Errr, close the roof please says Rafa, its pissing down. I'll bet Rocket Rod has gone the colour of his hair. Nice one Oz, you sure know how to build pressure. Jeez !!
- Its actually quite comical the way England capitulated against Pakistan in the UAE. So called World Number One, their performance suggests the batting order is in reverse order. Not taking anything away from a decisive display by Pakistan, the English quality players looked well short of the mark. At least Monty got us to a winning position, but abject batting let us all down (again). Series lost !!
- England Tour of UAE. What's that all about?? Five day Test match in non Test match countries. They'll be playing Australia in Uzbekistan next. Give me strength, whatever happened to matches played in proven Test playing countries. Ok, so its the money factor - it still isn't Test Match Cricket. I hope the seventeen spectators enjoyed it !!
- .......and for those of you who don't read/speak Thai :- Ddoe Roedd yn ddiwrnod da. Mewnfudo o gymorth ac yn y Deyrnas wedi i mi am 90 diwrnod arall. Rwy'n gobeithio y Flwyddyn Newydd Tsieineaidd yn amser diogel a dymunol i bawb.
